Passion for His Presence: A Mouthful

Some of these bites are real gems:

What you esteem lightly will exit your life.” (including the Lord)

You cannot be nonchalant about God’s presence.”

We have no demonstrations because we’ve scheduled the Holy Ghost. In Jesus’s ministry, most of the demonstrations were interruptions.”

I was a success when I went to the Philippines and didn’t have a clue of what I was doing.” (speaking of obedience)

David didn’t have a clue when he was delivering bread and cheese, but God was positioning a giant-killer.”

My faith was meant to bring change to the world, not to create my own.”

The best thing that Samson did was drop the jawbone. Today, he’d have a book out called, ‘The 5 Principles of the Jawbone.’”

That’s what you need friends for, to tell you that you are stupid.”

When we came out of Bible school, we were crazy. We were radical. We didn’t care what anyone thought about us. Now all we want to be is respectable.”

If you are not sharp in the Spirit, you’ll become sharp in the soul and that is when you become critical.”

Our goal is not successful ministry, it is to bring change to the world. What is a “successful” church anyway?”

We can’t preach just a historical Christianity. Is the last person that’s been healed in your church the woman with the issue of blood?”

Best One of All:

The problem with your prayer and worship life is that it is too much like your sex life.”
