Joseph Morris Ministries
In Ephesians 4.11, the Word identifies what we commonly call the five-fold ministry: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. While some denominations have shortened the list to just pastors and evangelists, there is no evidence in the Word that the other ministry gifts ceased with the death of the Apostle John. In the book of Acts, we see the different functions of the variety of gifts and how they all contributed to the “equipping of the saints.”
Joe Morris has been a traveling minister for over twenty years and his ministry is like that of the prophet, Agabus, in that the revelation gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12.8, 10) are manifest in his ministry. Joe is a solid minister of the Gospel who preaches the “resurrection lifestyle” that is characterized by Paul and Barnabas in the book of Acts. One word that describes Joe’s ministry is “boldness.” While there are a good many ministers who talk a good game of atonement theories and lovey-dovey Christianese, Joe’s preaching smacks you like a WWF wrestler. You either love him or never want to see him again.
Joe is a hard man to catch (his internet guy seems to go AWOL about every three or four months), but if you’re able to track him down, you’ll probably be glad that you did. We always are.
