Great series on the Origin of Sickness. I have maintained throughout my preaching (22 years now) that Jesus never said, “Hey, God put this on you … Sorry, can’t heal you.”

My theology is very much guided by Jesus’ statement: “If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father.” (See John14) … Which means … If you want to know the Father’s heart and mind on sickness, keep you eyes on Jesus and watch him confront and rebuke sickness. If you want to know the Father’s heart and mind on death itself, watch Jesus walk away from His own tomb. The Father says “No!” to sickness and “No!” to death and has labored, at great cost to Himself, to restore us and the earth to His original vision (See John 3:16 … Romans 8 … 1 Corinthians 15). Ross

Ross, thanks so much for the comment. Coming from a legal background with all its professionals, laws, etc., I’ve often said to my wife (and anyone else who’d listen) that the hard part about preaching is that the Gospel really is so simple. We’d all do well to maintain your simplicity.
