On The Road with Joe Morris

This week I’m taking a much needed vacation break. My wife and I hiked it up to Iowa (of all places) to sit in some Joe Morris meetings. Over the last two years or so, we became friends with Joe and his wife, Colleen, as they came to see us as semi-regular back-row bench warmers in such out-of-the-way places as El Reno, Oklahoma, Greensboro, North Carolina, and now Independence, Iowa.

Joe is one of the rare Word preachers that actually preaches the Word nowadays. If you get the chance to attend one of his meetings, I will tell you that it is well worth the trip. He is currently emphasizing Jesus’s soon return to the earth and the judgment seat of Christ - subjects that I personally have not heard other Word preachers preach in twenty years.

One other aspect of Joe’s ministry that you don’t see too much of today is the manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit. Joe tends to flow in the word of knowledge and gifts of healing and it is just dynamite to witness such a ministry.

Hello Peter, how were the meetings with Joe Morris?

    John,

Thanks so much for your email.

As usual, the meetings were great. In my mind, Joe is one of just a few preachers that preaches the real Word. He is also one of the few that is genuine. He is currently preaching on the End Times and, though I’m not an End Times expert, I don’t know of anyone else that has it done like he does. Anytime that we can get away to sit under his ministry is money and time well spent.
