30-Day Top Ten and Other Ruminations

The Top Ten on the sidebar are the Top Ten on the site for all time. From a look at the site statistics, the podcasts are ten times more popular than my written articles. I haven’t had the time to do a podcast in a while so here are the top ten posts for the last 30 days:

  1. Not on Hiatus
  2. Preaching the Man Jesus Christ
  3. The End of Times and Coming Apocalypse
  4. More Thoughts on Ministry Culture and Finance
  5. Two Men - Two Conversations
  6. The Stark Remembrances of Eternal Damnation
  7. A Double-Dog Dare: Hoppin’ at iHop
  8. Dusting Off the Sandwich Board
  9. The End of the World as We Know It
  10. A Falling Away

You can type in the title in the search bar to find the respective article.

Earlier this week the site crashed. I’ve taken the opportunity to upgrade the site with the latest version of Wordpress and it appears that they’ve finally come out with a solid platform.

We finally completed the structural changes on our photo site - petersmythe.com - so I should have more time to devote to writing and podcasts (although we’re still reloading photographs).

I guess I’m in the minority, I prefer the articles to the podcasts. So please keep the articles coming, from time to time. I do like the podcasts, but prefer the articles. I think it’s cool that the “Not on Hiatus” was number one. Whether they agree with your or not, it seems that many people look forward to your posts.

    John,

    Thanks for the comment.

I prefer the articles too, but writing is difficult work. I’m not the greatest speaker in the world, but the podcasts do allow movement away from the computer screen which is usually a good thing.

Yes, I can see where the podcasts would be easier on you. I’m sure it is more fun to teach it than to type it all out.
