What is Podcasting?
Podcasting is the latest in on-the-go, on-demand media. Podcasts feeds are published on the internet which allows users to download audio and video files automatically by subscription.
Advantages of Subscribing
Users may download audio podcasts to their computers and even transfer the downloads to portable music players such as an iPod. Users can get updated podcasts by subscribing to a feed through services such as iTunes. These podcasts are completely free (see our page on Giving).
How Do I Set It Up A Subscription?
You can set up a subscription through iTunes. To set up a subscription through iTunes, please do the following:
- Download the latest version of iTunes.
- Click on Smythe Podcast subscribe link on the Smythe Podcast iTunes page (it may take a couple of moments).
- Go to preferences and figure out just how many downloads you want on your iPod at any single time.
- Fasten your seatbelt and listen.
